Inflation is a big issue in the UK; having reached a 40-year high of around 11%. The global issue continues to impact everyday lives necessitating the need for responses in different quarters.
As a church, Jesus House realises the need to provide much needed support for its community during these times and has put a few things in place as a response to the crisis.
The rise in the cost of living is threatening to overwhelm so many but our prayer is that we will not be overcome by it in Jesus’ name, amen. Gen 45: 10 – 11

We must care for one another and whilst we encourage everyone to look out for each other, the church has also set aside some funds to support those in dire need of food, transport, and housing support in its community.
Warm Welcome Campaign
The rise in the cost of living is already affecting millions across the UK, with many reporting they will be unable to switch on the heating on in the coming months. As a church, Jesus House believes everyone should have a warm and welcoming space to go to this winter, which is why it is joining the warm welcome campaign and opening its doors to provide a warm welcome to members of its community.
